I set myself a challenge at the start of the year to make a different crochet string bag (or sac filet) each month. After a great start for January, I spent quite a long time on February’s design attempts… with a number of restarts, I was happy with up to a point, until I finally ripped out a good many hours work in frustration. I was starting to panic as the month drew to a close and I’d nothing to show, but then the thought occured that a ‘bag’ could be any size, and perhaps the style could be the same, but the use different…

So I made up a smaller version of my January bag & it’s just the perfect solution for a hanging planter! I had great fun working out where to hang them together, and then shooting them from all angles, including above & below…I think my poor house plants have had quite enough of the central heating though – thank goodness Spring is arriving & warmer weather is soon on it’s way…

Do you have hanging plants & how do you hang them?
