I’ve always been drawn to circular shapes & curves.
My crochet work is often in rounds & has a meditative element derived from mandala making. Artwork I enjoy generally has a flow & freedom to it, as opposed to hard or sharp lines. My favourite flowers are full, soft rounds of petals…
I find them a soothing constant – what goes around, comes around.
A mindful reminder to hold strength, positivity, peace & love close to my heart & in my being.
I’ve worn a single infinity circle around my neck almost constantly since Boo was born, but I adore my new ‘Elska’ double infinity necklace from Lines & Current – it seems more fitting somehow – a reminder I’m keeping those values, not just for myself, but for the two of us…
I’m enjoying wearing more jewellery generally at the moment, but I do like to have staple favourites. The ‘ODA open ring’ is fast becoming one of those being “dainty & fine at under 2mm thick, yet confidently saying ‘I’m okay with me,’ solid in her Sterling Silver geometric shape.” (L&C)
In truth, I’m pretty smitten with everything Rebekah stocks, if I’m honest, but more than anything, this girl’s heart is solid gold. She says:
“The (Lines & Current) designs resemble something in between the hustle of urban/street style and the echoing whisper of nature – where I’m most at home – kind of always straddling the two worlds! They are everyday pieces and reflect the simplicity I value. Minimal jewellery but with meaning, & hopefully, a bit of personality too.”
Headwear is next on my list – I love the idea of the ‘Hetta‘ hat’s flexibility, but also tempted by the shades.
Hmmmm – decisions decisions!
Which is your favourite piece?
