Christmas Subscription Gift Ideas…

Creativity - Everyday

christmas gift ideas

I can’t believe the festive season is so very nearly upon us already, and I’m thinking about what to get for loved ones (as well as my own wish list!) One of my favourite christmas gift ideas this year is the subscription…the gift that keeps on giving. The perfect idea for last minute orders or something just a bit different. Because who doesn’t love a treat or surprise in the mail?…

\\ for the reader:
Last year, Dad got me my subscription to Frankie magazine for Christmas & that has been a top repeat on this year’s list. I’ve loved receiving my copy every other month, & whatever the taste or interest, there’s likely to be a magazine subscription to suit…

\\ for those who love surprises & exciting design:
Hands up who hates getting bills through the door? (me!) Not Another Bill is a curated gift subscription service which aims to “put a smile on your face with some magic in your mail”. I just love their story & you check out the sort of things to expect with their past presents list

\\ for the photographer…
If you know someone who likes to experiment with their photography, a lomography film subscription could be just the perfect gift for them…of course, you may have to get them a camera too, and there’s alot to choose from (and that’s just from Lomography!)…I love my La Sardina (a gift from the in~laws) & hear good stuff about Diana too. Such a fab idea for giving someone the freedom to click away & create something amazing!

\\ for the flower lover…
Having regular flowers in the home is a real treat, so the idea of being gifted them and having them arrive regularly is rather appealing to me…Bloom&Wild & WigglyWrigglers both offer subscription order services. TIP: If you split a bouquet or posy into smaller, simple arrangements or single stems in pretty vases or containers, you can have flowers in almost every room of your home!

\\ for stationary lovers:
hello lucky offers a monthly card subscription where you get three letterpressed cards from their collection each month which you could frame, keep, or use to send out a little note the old fashioned way. GingerMail also has a six weekly subscription including fun cards & stationary around a different theme each time. (Both these are US based, but the delivery seems fairly reasonable).

I hope that gives you a few fresh christmas gift ideas too; either for those that are hard to buy for, live too far to send a package perhaps, or maybe for you own wish list x
